About the Competition
Design Build Fly – UAEU is an applied academic competition that challenges students to turn theory into real-world engineering solutions. Teams work together to design, construct, and test-fly a functional RC aircraft under practical conditions.
The competition is organized by Eco Adventure Tourism in partnership with academic institutions and sponsors, aligning with the UAE's national vision to support engineering talent and innovation.
Competition Goals

Competition Phases
- Design: Submit technical design proposals and concept documentation.
- Build: Construct scaled aircraft using approved materials.
- Flight Test: Demonstrate flight performance on a real field.
- Presentation: Showcase the project to judges with technical reasoning.
- Evaluation: Projects are scored based on execution, creativity, and flight results.
- Side Activities: Exhibitions, workshops, and public STEM events.
